1. The posts are subject to all India Service Labiality including Field service.
2. All the selection process will be carried out at Assam Rifles
3. SC/ST/OBC candidates who apply against Gen (UR) vacancies are not eligible for the age and other concessions meant for SC/ST/OBC
4. OBC candidates seeking reservation of OBC are required to submit ((scanned and upload) a certificate of regarding OBC and Non creamy layer status issued by competent civil authority
5. Govt servant (Departmental candidate) will get age relaxation upto 40 years (45 years for SC/ST)
6. Central Govt civilian employees must furnish no objection certificate from their employer/office at the time of skill test.
7. Furnishing of false, inaccurate or tempered or dubious information will be disqualified.
8. PH candidates seeking reservation of PH are required to submit a certificate of disability.
9. Certificate of experience in the trade where experience is desirable be produced
10. Sports Person. Person who have represented at state in National/International university tournaments conducted by inter-University sports board. State school team in National Sports/Games conducted by AISGF. Person awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under National Physical Efficiency Drive. Certificate to the same affect be submitted (scanned and uploaded)
11. Incomplete/ineligible applications will be deemed invalid and rejected without intimation to the candidate. Only eleigilbe candidates will be called for the Physical/written examination
12. Screening of application may be carried out & shortlisted the candidates based on their qualifying exam average marks.. The candidate who fails to qualify in the physical test shall not permit to undergo written test. Skill test wherever applicable will be conducted and will be qualifying in nature.
13. Selection of candidate shall be carried out based on the performance in written exam and subsequent merit list.
14. It is made clear that merely fulfilling the basic essential qualification/requirements does not automatically entitle a person to be called for test. The selection will be made strictly n the merit basis.
15. The question papers of written test (objective type) will be bilingual (both English and Hindi for all posts).
16. Syllabus for written examination will be (a) General Intelligence and reasoning (b) General English (c) Numerical aptitude (d) General Awareness
17. Selection of all Gp ‘C’ posts will be made solely based on marks obtained by the applicants in the written test only subject to qualifying in the practical/physical/ skill/trade/typing tests.
18. All appointment are initially on temporary basis but likely to be made permanent.
19. No TA/DA is admissible. Duration of each test can be 05 days or more. Candidates will make their own arrangements for lodging/boarding during the test.
20. All candidates need to be medically fit and medical exam will be carried out on selection of the candidate.21. Only online application will be accepted. Candidates NOT TO SEND any application printouts or certificates of copies to Assam Rifles by post.
22. The application form will be available on website www. ____________.gov.in and last date for submission of online application is 21 days from the date of publication of advertisement in ‘Employment News’.
23. Candidate is required to submit the online Application Form and take a print-out of the application form and e-acknowledgement for future reference.
24. Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of ID Proof (Aadhar Card, PAN Card etc), latest passport size colour photograph and Std 10th/ 12th/Graduate passing Certificate issued by recognized Board duly scanned.
25. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated later, on by email/SMS for reporting for selection test. The candidate must bring out of their application form duly photo pasted with all the essential original documents and valid photo ID which has been uploaded at the time of submission of online application .
26. Assam Rifles reserves the right not to fill up all the posts some/any of the posts, if it so desires. The number of vacancies indicated in the advertisement may vary i.e. increase or decrease at any stage during the course of recruitment.
